Working from her Norwich studio, Laura Winstone brings a quiet precision to everything she makes. Her work blends folklore, marine life, and traditional English craft. For this collection, Laura created each tile by hand- drawing, painting, firing and refining before the designs were adapted for print.
Inspired by traditional Delftware and the British coastline. Each wrapper features sea-inspired tiles hinting at what’s possible through rewilding - not just the return of these species in greater numbers, but the revival of the ecosystems they depend on.
For every roll sold, we donate to UK rewilding projects working to protect and restore our coastlines. These designs feature puffins, otters, tuna and kelp which all play a part in species recovery along the coastline.
All Bumboo products are made from bamboo sourced from sustainably managed forests, which preserve biological diversity and support the livelihoods of local communities and workers.

what type of paper is inside the wrappers?
Inside these beautiful wrappers you will find our super soft, PFA free whitened 3 ply toilet paper.
how long are your rolls?
Our rolls are 30m long, which is 300 sheets of 3-ply softness and each sheet of toilet paper is 10 x 10cm.
is your toilet paper septic tank safe?
We are delighted to say that with normal use, yes it is!
is your packaging plastic free?
Yes- with one thoughtful exception. Our cleaning range bottles are made using plastic that’s been rescued before it could enter the ocean, and they’re fully recyclable. This is the only time we believe plastic is acceptable- when it’s being reused responsibly to reduce waste.
Everything else we make and ship is completely plastic free, right down to the packaging your order arrives in.
Is Bumboo toilet paper made from 100% bamboo?
Yes. Multiple independent fibre analyses using the TAPPI T 401 method confirm that Bumboo is 100% bamboo with no hardwood or softwood contamination.
Does Bumboo publish its lab results?
Yes. We openly publish summaries of all fibre tests and continue commissioning independent testing for full transparency. You can find the test results for our bamboo toilet rolls in our transparency hub
