A wildlife corridor is essentially connecting A to B in a wildlife friendly way. This could be as simple as creating a little gap in your fence that allows wildlife to pass between gardens. Or if you want to take it a step further, add in native hedging which provides food and shelter! If all our gardens were connected in this way, it would give wildlife a far larger area to forage, live and expand the gene pool.

Hedgehog Highways: Who doesn't love a hedgehog? They're not just adorable; they're also nature's own gardeners, munching away on pesky slugs and bugs without us needing to use any chemicals. These spiky friends love a good night-time wander, often travelling over a mile! But fences and walls can block their path. You could try removing obstacles that may get in the way of hedgehogs passing from garden to garden, or collaborate with a neighbour to create hedgehog-sized holes in your fences.

They'll not only transform dull walls but also offer a food source and a snuggly home for birds and bugs. Plus, they link up different spots for our tiny friends to explore.
