Create your own Christmas crackers with Bumboo’s festive wrappers make your guests feel extra special with personalised treats inside. They’re thoughtful, planet-friendly, and full of festive cheer—a win-win!
you'll need:
- Three empty toilet roll cores
- Bumboo festive wrapper (pre-sized and ready to go!)
- Cracker snap (optional for an extra pop!)
- Double-sided tape
- Ribbon or twine
- Small goodies for filling (we love these mini soaps from Wild Sage + Co)
1. Lay Out Your Wrapper and Cores
Place three toilet roll cores in a row on the plain side of your Bumboo festive wrapper. Insert a cracker snap through the rolls, securing it to the middle roll. No need to trim the wrapper—it’s already the perfect size!
2. Add Tape for a Snug Wrap
Stick three strips of double-sided tape along one end of the wrapper, aligning each piece with a roll (make sure the tape is on the wrapper, not the rolls).
3. Wrap It Up
Roll the wrapper around the toilet rolls to fully cover them, overlapping the taped end on top. Press firmly to secure the tape, wrapping it snugly around the rolls.
4. Adjust the Rolls to Fit the Wrapper
Gently pull the two end rolls outward until they line up with the edges of the wrapper.
5. Create the Cracker Ends
To start the indent, gently twist the wrapper between the middle roll and one end roll. Then, tie a loose knot with ribbon around the twisted section and tighten it carefully to shape the cracker end. Slide out the end roll, pull the ribbon tight to close, and finish with a bow. Trim any extra ribbon.
6. Fill It with Festive Surprises

7. Close the Other End
Repeat Step 5 on the open side to complete your cracker. Now it’s ready to bring some Christmas cheer!
